# How To Set Alerts

Viper Algo has a great feature that allows you to get notifications when a security of your choice gets a buy/sell signal. To enable these, please follow these steps: Head over to the charts section on TradingView, and with Viper Algo on your preferred timeframe, click the 'Alert' tab at the top of your screen.

Under 'condition', click ViperAlgo.com.

From here, you can customize if you want solely buy or solely sell alerts, how it sends alerts (Pop-up, Email etc.), and what message comes with the alert.
